چکیده

The performance of many cloud-based applications critically depends on the capacity underlying datacenter network. A particularly innovative approach to improve throughput in datacenters is enabled by emerging optical technologies, which allow dynamically adjust physical network topology, both an oblivious or demand-aware manner. However, such topology engineering, i.e., operation and control dynamic networks, considered complex currently comes with restrictions overheads. We present Duo, a novel reconfigurable rack-to-rack design realized simple efficient plane. Duo based well-known de Bruijn (implemented using small number circuit switches) key observation that this can be enhanced (''opportunistic'') links between its nodes. In contrast previous systems, has several desired features: i) It makes effective use supporting integrated multi-hop routing (paths combine static links). ii) uses work-conserving queue scheduling enables out-of-the-box TCP support. iii) employs greedy implemented standard IP longest prefix match forwarding tables. And iv) during topological reconfigurations, tables require only local updates, making ideal for networks. evaluate end-to-end packet-level simulations, comparing it state-of-the-art networks designs. show provides higher throughput, shorter paths, lower flow completion times high priority flows, minimal packet reordering, all existing transport layer protocols. also report proof-of-concept implementation Duo's data

Network-Adaptive QoS Routing Using Local Information

In this paper, we propose the localized adaptive QoS routing scheme using POMDP(partially observable Markov Decision Processes) and Exploration Bonus. In order to deal with POMDP problem, we use CEA(Certainty Equivalency Approximation) technique that involves using the mean value of random variables, since it is intractable to determine the optimal solution. And we present a new path selection ...

Multicast computer network routing using genetic algorithm and ant colony

Due to the growth and development of computer networks, the importance of the routing topic has been increased. The importance of the use of multicast networks is not negligible nowadays. Many of multimedia programs need to use a communication link to send a packet from a sender to several receivers. To support such programs, there is a need to make an optimal multicast tree to indicate the opt...

High-Throughput in Wireless Mesh Networks Using Different Routing Metrics

Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) can be designed using a routing technique. There is lot of protocols developed for many packets delivery, but they fail in the path selection in the presence of selfish nodes. To overcome this problem, Cross layer metrics is developed which is used to select the path that delivers the highest packet. The Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) is used by indivi...
